A little reminder

I want to remind parents that we will have class this Saturday, December 22, due to making up the New Year holiday. December 31-January 1 will be a holiday, and there will be no school on these two days. Enjoy the time to spend with your loved ones~ Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Watermelon Class's beans have been steadily growing. 

Allen has been doing great with Phonics Readers, and Melody has started reading some short A words. Good job, you two!

We are using finger paints to make reindeer hats. It feels very weird on our hands!!

Christmas Party: Thank You!

Good evening! Thank you parents and family members for joining us at the Christmas Party today, we hope you enjoyed the show! Watermelon Class was so GREAT today, they followed instructions very well and performed with such enthusiasm. I am VERY PROUD of each and every one of them!!! Thank you parents for your support, especially Jared's Mommy for helping us out taking pictures!!

I will upload photos and videos of the performance as soon as I can. But, in the meantime, you can check out videos of one of our rehearsal sessions earlier this week. Remember... practice makes perfect! We have practiced a lot, and as you have seen today, it has paid off :)

We have been working hard, rehearsing for our Christmas Party.

Watermelon Class will play an instrumental song with Apple Class. Michelle and Allen will play piano, so they must also practice and memorize how to play the song. Good work, Watermelon Class!

New Song Lyrics + Update

Hello Parents,

This is a post to let you know that the song lyrics to Santa Claus Is Coming To Town and We Wish You  A Merry Christmas have been added to the Music Page :) I also wanted to let you know that because we are all looking forward to Watermelon Class' performance for our Christmas Party on December 15, we will be spending the next two weeks rehearsing for the big show! Therefor, our lessons schedule will be pushed back. Parents, please do not worry! We will still finish our December's learning goals by the first week of January!

As you all know, Teacher Jennifer has taken a temporary leave due to health reasons. Teacher Jennifer has trusted me with Watermelon Class, and I will certainly do my best! Parents, if you need to contact me, you can always call the school, or email  me at: teacher_micky@hotmail.com.
