Reminder

Tomorrow, November 29th, is our big monthly outing!

We are going to the Science Museum!

Please remember to arrive at school on time at 9:00am. We will have morning snack at school and leave right after. Please remember to bring water bottles, wear school uniforms and jackets. We will have lunch at the Science Museum so please do not pack lunch bags.

Readers

Dear Parents,

The students now bring their readers home with them! Please practice reading with your child at home.

We read our readers during Phonics Class on Mondays and Thursdays. Please remember to bring the readers to school on these days. At the end of the day on Mondays and Thursdays, we will send the readers home again.

If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to ask!

Week 9 & 10

We are off to a great start this month!

We have had 2 cooking classes with Teacher Micky!

First we made orange and grape jelly.

And this week we made cute sandwich sushi!

In art class we are working together as a class on some great projects:

We made a big and beautiful hand-print rainbow for Watermelon Class!

We are also working together to make a class quilt.

We had science class OUTSIDE so that we could observe nature! We took magnifying glasses and did a fun activity with Teacher Cindy.

We also collected leaves to observe and made leaf rubbings!

We played some fun new games in the playground.

Ask your child how to play!

The students really enjoy the games we play each week to review vocabulary. 

Now sometimes they want to play Teacher and run the whole game themselves!

Teacher Cindy and I can watch as the students take turns leading the game on their own :)

We are seeing such great developments in Watermelon Class!

Last week Allen created a new game using Halloween vocabulary! He was very excited to play it with Watermelon Class. He explained in English how to play the game and everyone had lots of fun :)
