A Week in Photos (August 5-9)

Theme Class

We love to play Big Bad Wolf games! This time, Allen is the Big Bad Wolf, and he is testing Melody and Joy if they know their vocabulary words. 

We are thinking of stories to share during Circle Time. Allen and Melody enjoy sharing their stories, while Joy and Yumi are practicing to share stories in English as well.

Students love to practice their skits with the puppet theater. We are really in a show!


Phonics Class

 Melody and Allen continue reading their readers. Allen is just about finished, and even reads ahead when he takes it home. Melody is finishing up Book 5. Great job!


Art Class

Melody is so excited to make a gift for her daddy on Father's Day! 

Everyone is working seriously, and decorating with things that they think their daddy will like.

 Wonderful picture frames!

 I'm sure Daddy was very happy to receive a thoughtful gift ^___^


Toys Show and Tell

 This was Yumi's first time to show a toy. She forgot to bring a toy, but that's OK. I told her she can borrow a toy from school!

This was also Joy's first time to share her toy. She does a wonderful job to copy what I say. Later, she will be able to speak by herself! Allen brings so many BIG Lego's recently. He builds them himself. 

Park Day

Science Class

 This week, we learn about balance.

Melody and Yumi see how long they can balance on one foot.

We also try to balance things on our head. So cute!

Cooking Class

 Teacher Mandy taught everyone how to make hot dog sandwich.

Kids love ketchup!

Fun Day with Apple Class

I was not at school on Thursday and Friday, so Teacher Mandy combined classes. There are so many students now!
