A Week in Photos (May 13-17)

Theme Class

 In this week's theme class, we talked about several different habitats: arctic, jungle, forest, desert, rivers,  lakes, and ocean!

 We played a funny naming game. Can you remember the different moves for different habitats?

 We learned many more animals,  so we made more flashcards for our Habitats poster.

 Teacher Coco played a game similar to Red Light Green Light. When you see the bomb, run back to the whiteboard!

Students try to build sentences with the animals and habitats that they were given. Can you tell me what animal lives in the forest? Or in the jungle?

Phonics Class

 Students love playing Sight Words Twister! We end up in funny poses.

We continued reading our phonics readers. Allen and Michelle finished reading another story!

Art Class

 In this week's art class, we made cute animal bookmarks to keep in our phonics readers.

Toys Show and Tell

Allen shows us his new LEGO toy, and Michelle brings her Hello Kitty doctor toy set, and mentioned that Jenny loves to play it so she wanted to bring it for her!

We sit properly and listen carefully when others are presenting. Excellent!

 Doctor Melody is giving Teacher Micky a checkup with Michelle's Hello Kitty doctor toy. Michelle and Melody play very well together, and are very good friends!

Park Day

Everyone plays very well with one another. We all run around the playground very happily. Unfortunately, it began to  rain a little bit that day, so we had to walk back to school earlier than usual. It's OK because we will come back to visit next week! We can't wait!! 

Science Class

 In this week's Science Class, we observed each other's similarities and differences. There were many differences between us, which is what makes us unique! Students had fun changing parts of our faces. The new faces look so silly!!

Cooking Class

Teacher Mandy, what are we making for Cooking Class today!??!???? Tuna sandwiches.. yummy!

 First, we cut open the bun to make two halves. Then we spread tuna on one side.

The next step is to sprinkle some wheat cereal to give an extra crunch!

And of course, the last step is to EAT!!! Everyone says "yummy" with so much food in their mouth haha!

Music Class

Allen is helping me roll up the carpet for a fun music class!

Fun and Silly

On the day before Science Class, students saw me preparing for the activity. They look so funny with someone else's face!

On this day, everyone got one supermoney at the same time. And everyone got the same Christmas design! Excellent!!
